October 22nd Deadline for RHI Installations
The deadline for registration of previous Renewable Heat Installations back to 15th July 2009 is set for the 22nd October at 4pm. This means that all MCS compliant installations installed since 15th July 2009 but not yet registered on the MCS Installation Database, must be registered by this date to receive an MCS Certificate. After this date it will no longer be possible to register these installations.
After the 22nd October deadline, the existing deadline of 10 working days for registration will be enforced by MCS. All installations must be compliant with the MCS Standard in force on the date of commissioning. Failure to register installations within this deadline means you are unable to obtain an MCS Certificate.
We would urge all Installers to look at the 22nd October deadline and any registrations that need to be made, well in advance to ensure they do not get left until the last minute.
