CORGI MCS Certification

Following technical training and support and guidance with your management system from Easy MCS Ltd, you will be in a position tonundertake the assessment for the Microgeneration Certification Scheme with CORGI. The CORGI MCS team will liaise with you to get a convenient date booked in to come and inspect one of your installations.

The assessment will require a site visit for each technology and a half day office audit, but don’t worry, you will be well prepared with the advice and support from Easy MCS Ltd.

Once you’re accepted you will feature on the main MCS register (www.microgenerationcertification.org) and if chosen, the UK MCS Directory www.mcsdirectory.co.uk . You will be able to issue your customers with MCS installation certificates giving them access to the Feed in Tariffs and other initiatives to support the introduction of renewable technology such as the expected Renewable Heat Incentive for April 2011.

Also, alongside your MCS registration you should be thinking about self certifying your work to meeting build regulations which may affect your installation too. Why not join the CORGI competent persons scheme and combine your assessments for the reduced fee of £150 (normally £375) and be able to notify your electrical and plumbing work to building control and issue the homeowner with a buildings compliance certificate. (dependant on qualifications)
